Greeting from my sunny studio overlooking the Missouri River.I’m way, way up where a person can take inspiration from natures panorama; awe inspiring lightning storms, turkey buzzards gliding gracefully on air currents and the occasional stunning bald eagle.

About the art, it started in 1966 when I made matching love beads for my boyfriend and myself. This was followed by crocheting seed beads, braided leather, macrame’ all forms of bohemian 60s art. After a 25 year career building hiatus, I returned to creating jewelry and put together my current studio.

My work evolves constantly, but right now I am pulled to what I call Art and ARTifact, old or found items combined with charms and symbols, leather, semiprecious stones and pearls of all colors and shapes. Six years ago I discovered antique African Trade Beads and these are featured in much of my work. These beads, which I purchase individually, are between 100-300 years old.
