Beginning Wheel Throwing - 4 Week Course

Service Description

This 4-week course is designed to teach students all they need to know to start making beautiful, usable ceramic wares on their own. Students will learn to prepare the clay by wedging, practice centering on the wheel, opening a vessel, and pulling up a variety of forms. Students will also learn to trim and decorate their pieces, add handles, create unique textures and designs, and more! Finally, students will glaze and finish a number of pieces that will be theirs to keep and enjoy! *After completing this course, students will be eligible to join Capital Arts' Open Studio Membership program.
